ETSI-BC is open right now. The Economic Trust of the Southern Interior has up to $1 million in its fall intake. It opened 1 September 2026 and it closes at noon on 8 October 2026. An individual business cannot apply on its own. It goes through a community or industry body (ETSI-BC fall 2026 intake, read 18 Sep 2026).
This is not a guess about whether anybody funds this work here. In January 2026 the federal Pacific development agency put $2.5 million into one Kelowna manufacturer to connect its machines with sensors (PacifiCan, 19 Jan 2026).
